Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ WHEN THE SKY is cleft asunder, 1 when the planets are scattered, 2 when the seas are made to burst forth, 3 And when the graves are turned upside down (and they bring out their contents) 4 then a soul shall know its works, the former and the latter. 5 O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?- 6 Who created you, shaped you, and made you well-proportioned, 7 having put thee together in whatever form He willed [thee to have]? 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 Noble and recording; 11 Who know (all) that ye do. 12 As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss; 13 And verily, the Fujjar (the wicked, disbelievers, sinners and evil-doers) will be in the blazing Fire (Hell), 14 [a fire] which they shall enter on Judgment Day, 15 And they shall by no means be absent from it. 16 And what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 17 Again, what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 18 It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, and all command shall be Allah's. 19
