The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the heaven of the constellations! 1 And by the Promised Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection); 2 By the witness and the witnessed! 3 (Self-)destroyed were the owners of the ditch 4 [Containing] the fire full of fuel, 5 When they were sitting at its edge. 6 Witnessing what they had done to the believers! 7 whom they hated for no other reason than that they believed in God, the Almighty, the Praiseworthy, 8 Him to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness to all things. 9 Those who persecuted the believing men and women and never repented, there is for them the punishment of Gehenna (Hell), and for them the punishment of the burning. 10 Verily those who believed and worked righteous works, theirs shall be Gardens whereunder the rivers flow; that is the supreme achievement. 11 Indeed the seizure of your Lord is very severe. 12 It is He who creates all things and causes them to return. 13 And He is the Forgiving, and the Loving. 14 – the Lord of the Glorious Throne, 15 a sovereign doer of whatever He wills. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 of Pharaoh and of Thamood? 18 In fact, the disbelievers had always rejected (Our revelations). 19 But God surrounds them from all sides. 20 Nay! it is a glorious Quran, 21 written on a preserved Tablet. 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
