The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
I CALL TO witness the sky (bespangled) with the signs of the Zodiac, 1 by the promised day, 2 And by the witness and that whereunto he beareth testimony, 3 Cursed be the makers of the pit, 4 with fire abounding in fuel, 5 When they were sitting at its edge. 6 And to that which they did to the believers were witnesses. 7 whom they hate for no other reason than that they believe in God, the Almighty, the One to whom all praise is due, 8 to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and earth. And Allah is the Witness of all things. 9 Lo! they who persecute believing men and believing women and repent not, theirs verily will be the doom of hell, and theirs the doom of burning. 10 (But) for those who believe and do good works, for them there are Gardens underneath which rivers flow that is the Great Victory! 11 Stern indeed is your Lord's punishment. 12 Surely He it is Who originates and reproduces, 13 and He is the All-forgiving, the All-loving, 14 Honorable Owner of the Throne, 15 Effecter of what He intends. 16 Has the story reached you of the hosts, 17 (The armies of) Firaun and the tribe of Thamud. 18 And yet the Unbelievers (persist) in rejecting (the Truth)! 19 and God is behind them, encompassing. 20 In fact it (what they deny) is the Noble Qur’an. 21 (Inscribed) in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz (The Preserved Tablet)! 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
