1/4 Hizb 35

And said the leaders of his people, who disbelieved and denied the confronting of the Hereafter and We had given them comfort in the worldly life that, “He is nothing but a human like you, he eats from what you eat and drinks from what you drink.” 33 And if you should obey a man like yourselves, indeed, you would then be losers. 34 Does he promise you that after you die and become dust and bones you will be brought back to life again? 35 ۞ After, after with that which you are promised! 36 There is no other life than the life of the world. We shall live here and here shall we die; and we are not going to be raised again. 37 He is only a man who has invented a lie about God, and we are not going to believe him!" 38 The Messenger said: "My Lord! Come to my help at their accusing me of lying." 39 [And God] would say: "After a little while they will surely be smitten with remorse!" 40 The blast justly struck them and We reduced them to rubble. Away with such wicked people! 41 Then We raised after them other generations. 42 no nation outstrips its term, nor do they put it back. 43 We then sent our Noble Messengers, one after another; whenever a nation’s Noble Messenger came to it they denied him, We therefore united the succeeding with the old, and made them history; so far removed be the people who do not believe! 44 Then We sent Moses and his brother Aaron with Our signs and clear authority 45 To Firon and his chiefs, but they behaved haughtily and they were an insolent people. 46 They said, "Should we believe two men like ourselves while their people are for us in servitude?" 47 So they cried them lies, and they were among the destroyed. 48 And We gave the Book to Moses so that they may be guided. 49 And We made the son of Mary and his mother a sign, and gave them shelter on an elevated ground, sequestered, watered by a spring. 50

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
