The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
CONSIDER the sky full of great constellations, 1 By the promised Day (of Judgment); 2 And [by] the witness and what is witnessed, 3 may the people be condemned those who tortured (the believers) in ditches 4 Full of fire fed by faggots, 5 When they sat by it, 6 And to that which they did to the believers were witnesses. 7 And what did they dislike from the Muslims, except that the Muslims accepted faith in Allah the Most Honourable, the Most Praiseworthy? 8 [and] to whom the dominion of the heavens and the earth belongs. But God is witness unto everything! 9 Those who persecute the believing men and women without repenting will suffer the torment of hell and that of the burning fire. 10 Lo! those who believe and do good works, theirs will be Gardens underneath which rivers flow. That is the Great Success. 11 Lo! the punishment of thy Lord is stern. 12 It is verily He who initiates and repeats. 13 And He is the Fogiving, the Loving, 14 Lord of the Arsh, the Glorious, 15 The great doer of what He will. 16 Has the story reached you of the hosts, 17 of Pharaoh and of Thamood? 18 But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial, 19 Allah encompasses them all from behind. 20 It is indeed a glorious Quran, 21 Inscribed in a tablet preserved. 22
True are the words of God the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
