The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the sky, and by the nightly comer! 1 - Ah, what will tell thee what the Morning Star is! 2 (It is) the Star of piercing brightness;- 3 There is no soul but has a protector over it. 4 So let man see from what he is created! 5 He was created from ejaculated water 6 Coming from between the back and the ribs. 7 Lo! He verily is Able to return him (unto life) 8 On the day when hidden things shall be made manifest, 9 He will have no strength or helper. 10 By the sky (having rain clouds) which gives rain, again and again. 11 and the replenishing earth, 12 It is surely a decisive utterance; 13 and it is certainly not a jest. 14 Lo! they plot a plot (against thee, O Muhammad) 15 And I secretly plan. 16 Let, then, the deniers of the truth have their will: let them have their will for a little while. 17
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
