The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the Sky and the Night-Visitant (therein);- 1 How will you comprehend what the night star is? 2 - The piercing Star! 3 There is no soul but has a protector over it. 4 So let man consider from what he is created. 5 Created from a gushing fluid. 6 issuing between the loins and the breast-bones. 7 God has all power to resurrect him. 8 The Day when secrets will be put on trial, 9 So man will neither have any strength nor any aide. 10 By the heavens, ever-revolving, 11 And the earth which splits (with the growth of trees and plants), 12 That this (Qur'an) is a decisive word 13 It is no pleasantry. 14 They (disbelievers) plot every evil plan, 15 And I (too) will make a scheme. 16 So allow time for the disbelievers. Leave them awhile. 17
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
