The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
