The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
