The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
Almighty Allah's Truth.
