We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
