The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 He who fears will mind, 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
