The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
