The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
Almighty God's Truth.
