Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
