The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil additional prayers). 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
