The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
