The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
