The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 Who determines and directs, 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
