Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Have you heard the story of the overwhelming event (the Day of Judgment)? 1 On that Day faces shall be humbled, 2 laboring, wornout, 3 roasting at a scorching Fire 4 given to drink from a boiling spring. 5 no food for them but cactus thorn 6 which gives no strength and neither stills hunger. 7 However, on that day the faces of other people will be happy. 8 well pleased with the result of their striving, 9 in a sublime Garden, 10 wherein they will not hear any vain talk. 11 Countless springs will flow therein, 12 raised couches, 13 Goblets set, 14 cushions ranged, 15 and carpets spread out. 16 Do they not look at the Camels, how they are made?- 17 how heaven was lifted up, 18 and on the mountains, how they are firmly set up, 19 And at the earth, how it is outspread? 20 Therefore do thou give admonition, for thou art one to admonish. 21 Thou art not at all a warder over them. 22 However, he who turns away and disbelieves - 23 Him Allah shall torment with the greatest torment. 24 Certainly, it is to Us that they will return. 25 Then, surely, it is for Us to call them to account. 26
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
