Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Has the story reached thee of the overwhelming (Event)? 1 [Some] faces, that Day, will be humbled, 2 Toiling, weary, 3 They will enter in the hot blazing Fire, 4 Given to drink of a spring fiercely boiling. 5 For them there will be no food except from a poisonous, thorny plant 6 which gives no strength and neither stills hunger. 7 Many a face will be in serenity on that day. 8 Glad with their endeavour (for their good deeds which they did in this world, along with the true Faith of Islamic Monotheism). 9 They will live in an exalted garden 10 wherein they shall hear no vain talk. 11 Countless springs will flow therein, 12 Therein are thrones raised high, 13 And chosen goblets. 14 and cushions arrayed in rows, 15 and carpets spread out. 16 Do they not look at the camels, how they are created? 17 And at the sky, how it is raised aloft? 18 And the mountains, how they are firmly fixed, 19 and on the earth, how it is spread out? 20 (Muhammad), preach; you are only a preacher. 21 Thou art not at all a warder over them. 22 But whoso is averse and disbelieveth, 23 God shall chastise him with the greatest chastisement. 24 Verily unto Us is their return. 25 Then it will be for Us to call them to account. 26
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
