Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the forenoon (after sun-rise); 1 By the night when it darkeneth, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you (Prophet Muhammad), nor does He hate you. 3 The reward in the next life will certainly be better for you than worldly gains. 4 And presently thy Lord shall give unto thee so that thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And He found you lost and guided [you], 7 And did He not find you in want, and then enriched you? 8 So do not oppress the orphan, 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 and proclaim the bounty of your Lord. 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
