The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the Glorious Morning Light, 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you, 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 Thy Lord shall give thee, and thou shalt be satisfied. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and protect (thee)? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 As for the orphan, do not oppress him, 9 And as for him who asks, do not chide (him), 10 and as for thy Lord's blessing, declare it. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
