Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

By the Glorious Morning Light, 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you (Prophet Muhammad), nor does He hate you. 3 And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. 4 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. 5 Found He not thee an orphan, so He sheltered thee? 6 And He found you lost and guided [you], 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 Therefore, be not harsh with the orphan; 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 and of thy Sustainer's blessings shalt thou [ever] speak. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
