Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the midmorning, 1 and by the night when it covers the world with peace: 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He become displeased, 3 And indeed the Hereafter is better for you than the present (life of this world). 4 And soon will your Lord give you so that you shall be well pleased. 5 Did He not find you as an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And He found you unaware (of the Quran, its legal laws, and Prophethood, etc.) and guided you? 7 And found thee in want, and given thee sufficiency? 8 Therefore, be not harsh with the orphan; 9 and chide not him who asks, 10 and proclaim the bounty of your Lord. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
