Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Did We not expand thy breast for thee 1 and lifted from thee the burden 2 that weighed down your back? 3 And exalted thy fame? 4 Then verily along with every hardship is ease. 5 Indeed with hardship is ease. 6 Hence, when thou art freed [from distress,] remain steadfast, 7 and let your longing be for your Lord (in humility). 8
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
