The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 and [when] the earth yields up her burdens, 2 And man will say: "What is the matter with it?" 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 for that her Lord has inspired her. 5 On that Day people will go forth in varying states so that they be shown their deeds. 6 So, whoever does an atom's weight of good shall see it; 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
