The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
When the earth is shaken with its mighty shaking, 1 And the earth throws up her burdens (from within), 2 And man says: What has befallen her? 3 On that day earth will narrate its news, 4 as thy Sustainer will have inspired her to do! 5 On that Day people will go forth in varying states so that they be shown their deeds. 6 Then whosoever hath worked good of an atom's weight shall behold it 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8
