The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 when the earth shakes off her burdens, 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 On that Day will she declare her tidings: 4 Because thy Lord will inspire her. 5 On that day men shall come forth in sundry bodies that they may be shown their works. 6 And whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it then, 7 and whosoever has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
