The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
When the earth will be shaken with a mighty shaking, 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 On that Day it will relate all her news, 4 Because thy Lord inspireth her. 5 On that Day mankind will proceed in bands, that they may be shewn their works. 6 And whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it then, 7 And whoever does an evil deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
