The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

WHEN THE WORLD is shaken up by its cataclysm, 1 And the earth throws up her burdens (from within), 2 And man says: What has befallen her? 3 That day she will relate her chronicles, 4 For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 Then whosoever hath worked good of an atom's weight shall behold it 7 and whosoever has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
