The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
When the earth is shaken with its mighty shaking, 1 and earth brings forth her burdens, 2 And man will say: "What is the matter with it?" 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 having been inspired by your Lord. 5 That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. 6 So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 7 And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 8
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
