The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its appointed tremor. 1 And the earth throws up her burdens (from within), 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 So whoever does a good deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 7 And whoever does an evil deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
