Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
