The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

By the snorting chargers, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
