Al-Aadeyaat

The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 Then thereby raise dust, 4 And penetrate forthwith into the midst (of the foe) en masse;- 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
