Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
