Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
(I swear) by the snorting chargers (of the warriors), whose hoofs strike against the rocks 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 by the dawn-raiders 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
