The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the snorting, panting horses, 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 And raiding at dawn 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
