The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
