The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
