The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

The Clatterer! 1 What is the event that terrifies the hearts? 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 The day when men will be like scattered moths. 4 and the mount-ains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Scale 6 He will live a pleasant life. 7 but he whose weight is light in the Scale, 8 His refuge will be an abyss. 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot. 11
