Al-Qaare'ah

The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the Calamity? 2 And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity? 3 It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed, 4 And mountains will be like flying wool. 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise). 7 But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot. 11
