The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
The (unprecedented) crash! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 And what shall teach thee what is the Clatterer? 3 A day wherein mankind will be as thickly-scattered moths 4 And the mountains shall become as wool carded, 5 Then he whose scales weigh heavier 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 And as for him whose balances are light, 8 His abode shall be the abyss. 9 How will you comprehend what that is? 10 (It is) a Fire Blazing fiercely! 11
