The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

The Striking! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 What shall let you know what the Clatterer is! 3 It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed, 4 And the mountains shall become as wool carded, 5 Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy, 6 shall find himself in a happy state of life; 7 but he whose scales weigh lighter, 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 Ah, what will convey unto thee what she is! - 10 It is the scorching fire. 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
