The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

When the earth is shaken with its mighty shaking, 1 And the earth bringeth forth her burthens, 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 That Day, it will report its news 4 for your Lord has so directed it. 5 On that Day mankind will proceed in bands, that they may be shewn their works. 6 Whosoever has done even an atom's weight of good will behold it; 7 and he who shall have done an atom's weight of evil, shall behold it. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
