The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
OH, the sudden calamity! 1 How awesome the sudden calamity! 2 And what will explain to thee what the (Day) of Noise and Clamour is? 3 A day wherein mankind will be as thickly-scattered moths 4 and mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then, the one whose good deeds weigh heavy on the scales, 6 He will be in a pleasant life. 7 And as for him whose balances are light, 8 Will have the Abyss for abode. 9 How will you comprehend what that is? 10 (It is) a hot blazing Fire! 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
