Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Greed for more and more distracted you [from God] 1 until you come to the graves. 2 You shall know. 3 Again, no indeed; but soon you shall know. 4 Nay, would that you knew with certainty of knowledge (what your attitude will lead to, you would never have acted the way you do). 5 you would see the fire of Hell. 6 Again, ye shall see it with certainty of sight! 7 Then, on that day, ye will be asked concerning pleasure. 8
