Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Gross rivalry diverts you, 1 until you come to the graves. 2 Nay, but ye will come to know! 3 But you will soon come to know. 4 No indeed; did you know with the knowledge of certainty, 5 Ye shall certainly see Hell-Fire! 6 Again, you shall surely see it with the eye of certainty 7 Then you will surely be asked that Day about pleasure. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
