Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

The mutual rivalry for piling up of worldly things diverts you, 1 Until ye come to the graves. 2 Nay! You shall come to know! 3 Again, Nay! You shall come to know! 4 No indeed; did you know with the knowledge of certainty, 5 you would indeed, most surely, behold the blazing fire [of hell]! 6 In the end you will indeed, most surely, behold it with the eye of certainty: 7 Then, shall ye be questioned that Day about the joy (ye indulged in!). 8

Almighty God's Truth.
